The 10 steps to happiness

  1. Plant something, keep it alive and watch it grow.
  2. At the end of each day count at least five blessings
  3. Have a an hour-long conversation with your loved one each and every week
  4. Contact a friend that you haven't spoken to in a while and catch up; arrange to meet up.
  5. Take the time to relish a treat each and every day.
  6. Laugh - Have a good giggle every day
  7. Exercise for 30 minutes every other day.
  8. Say hello or smile at a stranger every day
  9. Reduce your television consumption by fifty percent.
  10. Spread some kindness - do a good turn for someone every day
